Church Eaton Chase 10k & Childrens Fun Run

On Sunday, April 11th, 2027, Church Eaton hosts its second annual village run, promising an even more welcoming and community-driven experience. Nestled in the picturesque Staffordshire countryside, this charming event invites runners of all ages to enjoy a scenic circular 10k route through quiet country lanes that encircle the quaint village.
The day kicks off at the Cricket Club with a delightful Children's Fun Run starting at 10 AM on the cricket field, where parents are encouraged to join their little ones in fancy dress for an extra bit of fun. The main event begins promptly at 11 AM when runners set out from the Cricket Club and make their way along winding lanes back to the finish line at the historic Royal Oak pub.
Participants can look forward to a hearty breakfast of baps and refreshments available between 8:30 am and noon at the Cricket Club, as well as post-race fare served at the Royal Oak starting from midday. All competitors will receive a medal upon completion, while the first male and female finishers are awarded special prizes.
Registration takes place at the Village Hall next to the Cricket Club between 8:45 AM and 10:30 AM on event day for both the main race (£17.50) and the Children's Fun Run (£3.00). The entry limit is set at a generous 200 runners, ensuring that everyone has ample space to enjoy the course.
Dedicated free parking will be available in designated areas around the village, clearly marked with signs and marshals to guide participants. However, out of respect for local residents, those opting to park on streets are asked to do so courteously.
It's important to note that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances; however, transfers to another runner can be arranged if necessary.
