Registration for the event can be completed via Race-Result Portal, but this does not replace or include the necessary license needed for participation in each race type. The timing system primarily relies on transponder technology, which must be securely attached at the front fork of your bicycle and positioned close to where the jury bus is stationed during the race.
Each competitor will receive a designated transponder from RSV-Timinig, ensuring accurate timekeeping throughout the event. Transponders placed elsewhere on the bike or in clothing may not register properly for timing purposes. Riders who start without their assigned transponders risk disqualification. After completing the race, be sure to return your transponder at the number collection point; failure to do so could result in additional charges.
To conserve battery life and ensure seamless performance of the transponders during races that are not taking place simultaneously, avoid bringing unused transponders near finish lines unnecessarily. This helps maintain optimal functionality for all competitors throughout the day.
For a clear start line up, participants should position themselves at least two meters ahead of the finishing line, typically centered under the grandstand arch if no other instructions have been given. Race numbers must be displayed upright and clearly visible on cyclists' backs, facing towards the jury bus to facilitate easy reading by officials during the race.
