Cook Forest, Highland Fall Scramble

The course begins and ends at the Log Cabin Environmental Center on Forest Road, with the race starting from this historic location where parking is also available for participants.
As you embark on your journey, prepare to traverse some of the most pristine and remote sections of the North Country Trail. This challenging route offers a true taste of nature's raw splendor, providing runners with breathtaking views and an invigorating atmosphere that will leave lasting impressions.
Along the way, one aid station at mile 6 serves as a vital respite point. Here, you'll find essential hydration in the form of water and electrolyte drinks, along with satisfying snacks like pretzels, chips, candy, and other treats to keep your energy levels up throughout the race.
After completing your run, return to the Log Cabin Environmental Center for packet pick-up between 7:30 and 8:30 am on race day. This convenient location not only offers a place of rest but also ensures that all participants have easy access to their bib numbers before setting off into the wilderness once more.
