Cops and Joggers 5K & 10K

Immerse yourself in the world of "Stranger Things" as you lace up your running shoes for the 13th Annual Cops & Joggers 5K and 10K on September 12, 2026. The race starts at 9:30 AM sharp, with registration beginning at 8:30 AM in Riverlink Park.
This year's event promises to transport participants into the eerie yet captivating atmosphere of Hawkins, Indiana, as runners and walkers alike take to the familiar course that winds through scenic paths along the pedestrian bridge. The race is a beloved community tradition, offering both distances for all levels of fitness enthusiasts.
Pre-register by July 19th to secure your custom-designed event shirt guaranteed only to those who sign up early. Post-registration participants will receive shirts while supplies last. High-tech bib-chip timing ensures accuracy and fairness in the competition.
The race route is lined with cheering spectators, creating an electric atmosphere that motivates runners as they push their limits under clear blue skies or through gentle autumn breezes. Water stations are strategically placed along both courses to keep participants hydrated during their run.
After crossing the finish line, refuel at the post-race refreshment station where a variety of treats await. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female runners in each age group—divided into ten-year increments—to recognize outstanding performances.
Proceeds from this year's event go directly towards supporting the Amen Soup Kitchen, making your participation not just about personal achievement but also contributing to an important cause that helps those in need within the community.
