Bolton Valley Double Down DH: A Weekend of Pure Downhill Thrills
August 15–16, 2026 marks an exciting milestone at Bolton Valley Resort with the inaugural Double Down Downhill. This full weekend race is crafted for adrenaline junkies and seasoned riders who thrive on pushing their limits.
The event kicks off with qualifier runs on Saturday, August 15. Participants will compete to secure a spot in the final day’s high-stakes showdown. The course offers challenging technical sections that demand precision and speed, providing an exhilarating test of skill and bravery.
Finals on Sunday, August 16, see riders tackle the same terrain but with increased pressure as they strive for top rankings. This is your chance to showcase mastery over every twist and turn. Registration costs $90 through May 13, including lift access both days—regardless of qualification status. More laps mean more opportunities to refine your approach.
Professional timing by Eleven11 ensures a competitive environment. Competitors can choose from categories such as Pro Men, Amateur Men, Pro Women, Amateur Women, Grom Boys, and Grom Girls. Free camping is available in the lower lots for those who prefer an off-the-grid experience; on-site lodging is also provided just steps away from the lifts.
Bolton Valley’s vibrant atmosphere blends high-energy racing with a relaxed bike park vibe. Enjoy music, food, and lively social events in the village after your full day of riding. Mandatory full face helmets and protective gear are required for safety.
Form teams of four or more riders to participate on Sunday, where team times will be recorded by adding up all members' run times for final results. Don’t miss out on this fast-paced, technical challenge that promises pure downhill fun!
