About the Event

The Cornwall Grit gravel bike event invites cyclists to explore two thrilling routes along some of the most scenic stretches of West Kernow Way. Created by Cycling UK, these courses offer a challenging yet rewarding experience through rugged and picturesque landscapes.
Both routes will be meticulously timed using electronic chips for precise results. Cyclists can expect well-marked trails that showcase the unique beauty and terrain of Cornwall's countryside. The main feed station is set to be located at St Just Sports Centre, offering essential refreshments and support along the way. Additional stations are yet to be confirmed but will ensure riders stay fueled throughout their journey.
The event coincides with the Land’s End 100 road sportive, sharing start and finish locations for a grand spectacle that draws hundreds of participants from across the region. This shared day creates an unparalleled atmosphere filled with camaraderie and excitement as cyclists converge to celebrate cycling in all its forms.
This dual-event setup provides both gravel enthusiasts and traditional road riders the opportunity to enjoy their preferred discipline while being part of a larger community celebration.
