CORRIDA NATURE DU SOUFFLE DE LE SOURN

On September 12, 2026, the picturesque village of Le Sourn will host its inaugural Corrida Nature du Souffle, an exciting addition to the local sports calendar. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Le Sourn with support from the municipal government, this event promises a unique blend of natural beauty and competitive spirit.
Participants can choose between two measured courses: a 5 km run and a more challenging 12 km route. Both races cater to licensed athletes as well as casual runners looking for an enjoyable outing in the countryside. The day's festivities will also include free children’s runs, offering opportunities for young participants from various age groups.
The race starts at the complex sportif de Le Sourn and follows a scenic path through the Plurit Valley. With its gentle undulations and beautiful stretches of flat terrain, this course offers runners an enjoyable challenge while showcasing the region's natural splendor. The route is designed in loops that weave through meadows and along tranquil waterways.
In addition to the main races, there will be separate events for children starting from 16:00 with a run open to those aged 7-9 years old, followed by U12 (poussins) at 17:00. The 5 km race begins at this point and is open to all categories from minimes onwards (born in or after 2012). At 18:15, the more advanced runners will take on the 12 km course.
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each category. Refreshments will also be available at the venue for participants and spectators alike, ensuring everyone can enjoy a post-race celebration under the cool autumn breeze of Le Sourn's beautiful surroundings.
