In September 2026, the Saint-Yorre Running Association will host its third successful edition of their solidarity race in the picturesque commune of Saint-Yorre (03270). Known for fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and inclusivity, this event welcomes runners and walkers alike to enjoy a day filled with various activities including running, walking, canicross, and leisurely strolls.
Participants have two options: a 5km route that offers a scenic yet manageable distance for all levels, or the more challenging 12km trail run which features an elevation gain of 330 meters. Both courses are designed to cater to different preferences while maintaining the spirit of community engagement and mutual support.
The event benefits "Communauté I Have A Dream," ensuring that every step taken contributes positively towards a meaningful cause. Along the way, runners will have access to refreshments at key points on the longer course as well as upon finishing both distances. All participants receive an arrival bag filled with goodies to celebrate their accomplishment and mark this special day.
