Welcome to the second edition of "Léandre and the Little Worlds," an event that celebrates nature, community spirit, and humanitarian efforts. This year’s race offers runners two challenging yet scenic routes: a 10-kilometer trail run and a new addition, a 15-kilometer course designed for those seeking more adventure. Set amidst lush forests and winding trails, both courses promise an immersive experience in the heart of nature. Expect to encounter steep ascents that add excitement to your journey through dense woodlands and rocky paths. The terrain is varied but not overly technical; however, sturdy trail shoes are recommended due to dry climbs throughout the route. The event is more than just a race—it’s a day filled with camaraderie and shared joy. Participants can look forward to an atmosphere of warmth and inclusivity where everyone from seasoned runners to casual walkers will find their place. The 10-kilometer march, in particular, has been adjusted this year for smoother pacing by separating the early kilometers from those participating in longer distances. Post-race amenities include a spacious parking area with easy access to restrooms and showers. Refreshments are plentiful at the finish line, where runners can enjoy food options alongside a well-stocked beverage stand offering everything from coffee and tea to cold beers. Proceeds from this event support "Léandre and the Little Worlds," an association dedicated to providing concrete aid—ranging from medical assistance to educational resources—to children and families in need around the world. Last year’s efforts, despite challenging weather conditions, enabled the reconstruction of a nursery school in Haiti that had fallen into disrepair following natural disasters. The race organizers are proud to announce numerous prizes for participants this time around: medals, trophies, floral bouquets for women, and gift certificates. These rewards aim to make your participation memorable and encourage you to return next year with renewed enthusiasm. Join us on September 27th, 2026, as we come together not just to run or walk but also to contribute positively towards a better world for the less fortunate children across different corners of our globe. We look forward to seeing you there! For more information and updates, visit our website where details about all our initiatives are available. Thank you in advance for your sportsmanship, generosity, and smiles. See you soon, François Mougéot President of Léandre et les P’tits Mondes
