Cowal Highland Gathering 5k Run 2026

Experience the thrill of running along Dunoon Pier at dusk during this unique evening race. Registration opens promptly at 6:00 PM inside the Pier Building, giving you ample time to sign up and prepare for your run.
The race kicks off right next to the crazy golf course just after sunset, with a start time set for 7:15 PM. The event is designed to cater to both seasoned runners and newcomers alike, offering an engaging evening activity that highlights Dunoon's scenic coastal setting.
Entry fees are £6 for members of Scottish Athletics and £8 for non-members, making it accessible for all levels of participation. As you make your way through the race, enjoy the camaraderie among fellow runners while taking in the stunning views of the pier and the sea.
Awards will be given to winners across various categories: first male and female finishers, as well as top veteran men (40+), women (35+), super-vet men (50+) and women (45+). Additionally, there are special recognitions for local runners and juniors who cross the finish line. Every participant will receive a medal to commemorate their achievement.
