D67 Dash 5K Run/Walk

The D67 Dash has been running strong since its inception in 2019, gathering over 300 participants each year to support local community initiatives. This race is not just about finishing a distance; it’s about coming together as a community to celebrate health and wellness while raising funds for essential programs that benefit Morton Grove residents.
The course offers firm but slightly soft terrain, perfect for both seasoned runners and newcomers. The route winds through the park with notable features like the golf fields and playground areas. Participants will start at Frank Hren Discovery Park and complete their 5K journey back to the same location. Elevation changes are minimal, ensuring a smooth experience.
The weather on race day is expected to be mild, with an average temperature of around 19.8°C, feeling slightly cooler due to a light breeze averaging 11.3 km/h. Humidity levels will keep things from becoming too sticky, and the chance of rainfall is minimal at just 2.8mm.
