Dagtocht NvO / Spoordonkse Trailwalk

The Spoordonkse Trailwalk/Dagparcours, part of the 28th Nacht van OLAT, offers runners two distance options on November 7, 2026: a challenging 35 km route and a more manageable but still scenic 25 km course. Both routes start at Komaen in Oirschot.
Registration fees are €10 for the shorter option and €12.50 for those tackling the longer distance. Members of OLAT, KWbN (Koninklijke Nederlandse Wandelbond), or Wandelsport Vlaanderen can enjoy discounts on these prices. Early registration is required via the event website by November 1 at midnight.
Runners should be prepared to navigate a mix of unpaved trails and some paved sections as daylight hours are limited in early November, making visibility an important factor for safety. The route features extensive support with four wagenrustposten (rest stations) along the longer course and three on the shorter one, each offering comprehensive refreshments including hot and cold drinks, snacks like bread rolls, cheese, dairy products, and fruit.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable drinking cups to align with OLAT's commitment to environmental sustainability. Additionally, there is an optional café stop for those seeking a more leisurely pace; however, this comes at the runner’s expense.
The trailwalk offers a unique opportunity to join fellow participants who might be completing the Nacht van OLAT long-distance event, providing moral support and companionship during their final kilometers. Runners are expected to complete both distances by 7 PM on race day, ensuring everyone finishes safely under daylight conditions.
