About the Event

Join us for fifth annual 5K-9 & Family Fun Run! Following the De Soto Days festival, this family and fur-friendly event is being presented by the local rescue Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary. Come out to see some adorable adoptable dogs, get some fun exercise, and help make a difference in the lives of homeless pups in need!

Each human registrant will receive a bib with official timing and post-race snacks. There will be snacks and water for the doggos too! Both the 5K Race and Family Fun Run will begin at 8 am. More details regarding the race will be sent via email the week of the race. Your pup is allowed to join you for the race at no additional charge. We do ask all dogs be dog and people friendly and up to date on all vaccinations.

Our virtual participants are invited to join from anywhere in the world, any day, and any distance! Please support the cause and share your photos of your run so we can all celebrate together!
