The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a special event for the youngest adventurers—a 100m dash where parents can accompany their little ones along winding trails filled with roaring dinosaurs. As daylight fades into twilight, the main events commence. At precisely 7:00 PM, children aged between 6 and 16 years old will take part in a spirited Junior race covering 2.5 kilometers through the park's enchanting terrain. This race is designed to challenge young runners with winding trails that offer both excitement and adventure. Following closely at 7:30 PM, an additional 5K event opens its gates for all participants aged 11 years and older. The course weaves through scenic paths adorned with prehistoric creatures, ensuring a unique experience even for seasoned athletes. Both races are meticulously designed to cater to runners of varying abilities, from beginners just starting their journey to experienced racers looking for a challenge. Upon crossing the finish line at either race distance, all participants will receive custom-designed medals commemorating their achievement. The top male and female overall winners, as well as age category champions, will be honored with trophies in Dippy's Theatre, adding an extra layer of prestige to these events. The park remains open exclusively for this event until 8:45 PM, allowing ample time for runners and spectators alike to enjoy the surroundings. Refreshments are available from Jurassic Snacks while picnic areas provide a relaxing spot for family gatherings. Registration opens at 6:00 PM with options to collect race numbers on-site or have them mailed out for an additional fee of £2. Spectators can purchase tickets priced at £2.50 each, excluding those under 90cm who enter free.
