DirtRun Summer Sizzler Race 4 Wyre Forest

On August 18th, runners will gather at Wyre Forest's Callow Hill Visitor Centre for an exhilarating off-road race. This unmissable 10km journey through the forest offers a challenging yet scenic route that winds its way around tracks and trails.
The race kicks off promptly at 7:00 PM, with participants ranging from seasoned athletes to enthusiastic newcomers aged 14 years or older. Entry fees are £10 for advanced registration and £15 on-site if spaces remain available. Canicross enthusiasts can also join the fun by running alongside their dogs.
The event features six distinct categories: Senior Female (ages 14-39), Senior Male, Vet40+ Female (ages 40-49), Vet40+ Male, Vet50+ Female (age 50 and above), and Vet50+ Male. While there are no medals or prizes awarded on the night, those who register for the series by May 1st will be eligible to receive trophies.
Registration closes at 6:45 PM sharp, so it's important to sign up in advance to secure a spot. The event is capped at 150 runners, ensuring an intimate and competitive atmosphere. On-site facilities include toilets but note that the cafe won't be open for this evening race.
Runners can expect cups of water available halfway through their journey. Participants are advised to arrange parking ahead as charges apply within Wyre Forest. It's important to know that there will be no refunds or transfers under any circumstances, so plan accordingly and register early to avoid disappointment.
