Experience the unique charm of Brazen Racing's Annual 12-Hour Race Party, set amidst the stunning Point Pinole Regional Shoreline. From dawn till dusk, participants can choose from three distinct race durations: The Dirty Dozen (full 12 hours), The Dirty Half Dozen (6 hours), and Quarter Dozen (3 hours). These races accommodate both solo runners and teams of two or three, offering a flexible challenge without the pressure of strict finishing times. Every lap completed earns you the title of "finisher," making this an accessible event for all skill levels. The day kicks off at 7:00 am with a full-day picnic that begins promptly at 10:30 am and continues throughout the duration of the race, ensuring there's plenty to fuel your journey. The course is a gentle 3.37-mile loop, mostly covered on dirt fire trails (98% of it), providing a serene yet dynamic running experience. As you venture out along the shoreline, take in expansive views of multiple bridges and mountains, then return through fragrant eucalyptus groves, creating an atmosphere that is both challenging and rewarding. The race structure allows for various approaches—some may push their limits to see how far they can go within a set timeframe, while others will enjoy the fully-supported environment without deadlines or cut-offs. Though few are expected to run non-stop throughout, walk breaks are encouraged as you navigate through this picturesque course. Each lap brings runners back to the start/finish area where you can refuel, change shoes or clothing, and greet friends. Support crews can set up personal "aid stations" nearby for additional assistance. The atmosphere is lively with a party vibe, ensuring that every loop around the track is supported by eager helpers ready to provide whatever you need. Race schedules are as follows: the 3-hour race concludes at 10:00 am; the 6-hour race ends at 1:00 pm; and the full 12-hour race finishes its journey at 7:00 pm. Join us for an unforgettable adventure that combines natural beauty with community spirit, making this event a highlight of every runner's calendar.

About Richmond
Learn more about the host city, Richmond.
Though it was a booming industrial center during World War II, the subsequent decades were not kind to Richmond, California. Its thriving shipyards gave way to blight, and a reputation for violent crime kept visitors away. But in the 21st century crime has gone down, and a revitalization has begun. Richmond still isn't on any tourism shortlists, but its historic sites, nature, and strategic location between the East Bay and Marin County do attract some interest to this often-overlooked part of the San Francisco Bay Area.
