Dockside Årsta Gravel Run 2026

Join us for the Dockside Swim & Gravel Run, set to take place on September 5th, 2026 at Marieviks Kaj. This exciting festival combines two beloved events: Stockholm's Swimming Festival and Årsta Gravel Run.
The swimming portion of the event features a 1500-meter swim in open water along Liljeholmskajen, offering swimmers stunning views as they make their way through the waters off Marievik. Meanwhile, runners will tackle an 8-kilometer course that winds its way around Årstaskogen, incorporating trails and gravel paths for a challenging yet scenic experience.
Participants can choose to compete individually or form teams of two—one swimmer and one runner—though each member must complete their respective portions independently. The event culminates in a lively celebration at Plåtparken with food, drinks, and music available for all attendees, regardless of whether they participated in the races.
The Årsta Gravel Run is designed to challenge runners on varied terrain, including trails through lush greenery and sections over rugged gravel paths. With a maximum time limit of 120 minutes, it ensures an engaging race that tests endurance while showcasing one of Stockholm's most picturesque areas.
Registration opens at 13:00, with a course briefing scheduled for 14:30 to ensure all participants are well-prepared before the start times. The swim begins promptly at 15:20 followed shortly by the gravel run. Prize distributions will take place once both events have concluded.
