Drøbak-Frogn Sports Club is delighted to invite runners of all ages and abilities to the charming streets of Drøbak for an unforgettable running experience. Building on the success of previous years, this year's race promises another fantastic day filled with good spirits and a scenic route through one of Norway’s most picturesque coastal towns.
Scheduled for Saturday, August 22nd, the event offers runners a unique blend of history and natural beauty as they navigate the town center's cobblestone streets and well-maintained asphalt paths. The course includes short stretches on gravel or light terrain, adding an element of variety to the otherwise smooth surface.
Competitors can choose from three distances: a family-friendly 600-meter race for children, a standard 5K loop around Drøbak’s charming waterfront, and a more challenging 10K option that doubles up as two laps. Each lap is precisely measured at 5 kilometers, providing runners with the opportunity to enjoy the scenic route twice if they choose.
The event not only celebrates athleticism but also fosters community spirit among participants and spectators alike. With its compact layout and welcoming atmosphere, this race offers a perfect blend of competition and camaraderie for all who attend.
