EAPL Zombie Run 5K

The 12th Annual EAPL Zombie 5K returns this fall, offering runners and their furry friends an exciting opportunity to support animal welfare while enjoying the scenic Bergen Park area of Evergreen, Colorado. Set against the stunning backdrop of mountains west of Denver, participants will start and finish at Buchanan Rec Center Ball Fields.
The course winds through a network of picturesque walking trails that weave around serene lakes and lush forests, providing ample opportunities for runners to take in the natural beauty of the region. Upon crossing the finish line, revelers are invited to join post-race festivities featuring refreshments, live music, and a costume contest open to both human participants and their pets.
Day-of registration and packet pickup will be available from 8:30 AM until 9:45 AM at Buchanan Rec Center Ball Fields. Additional parking is provided at the RTD lot on County Highway 65 near its intersection with Highway 74, located just a short distance away from the event venue.
Online registration remains open through October 30, 2026, until 10:00 AM local time. Participants are reminded that while this group activity is designed to be fun and engaging, it carries inherent risks associated with public gatherings during the ongoing global pandemic. By participating, individuals acknowledge their own risk of potential exposure.
