ECT 50% Half Marathon

Join us on October 10, 2026, for the East Coast Trail Ultramarathon (ECT) Sampler Series. This event offers runners an opportunity to experience the essence of trail racing and prepare themselves for future challenges like a full ECT 50k race.
The day kicks off early at Ann Waterman Family Park in Flatrock with check-in from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, followed by the start line opening ceremony. Participants should be prepared to begin their journey along the scenic East Coast Trail at precisely 9:00 AM. The race route winds through beautiful Middle Cove Beach where runners will find an aid station stocked with water and Gatorade for hydration needs.
Runners are encouraged to carry a cell phone and whistle throughout the course, ensuring they can stay connected in case of emergencies or need additional support from volunteers stationed along the way. While it's possible to receive assistance at designated aid stations, having your own crew ready to tend to personal needs is highly recommended.
The ECT Sampler Series promises varied conditions due to its "Rain or Shine" policy, making it essential for participants to come prepared with appropriate gear and nutrition tailored to their individual requirements. Whether you're looking to build endurance or test your speed on challenging terrain, this event offers a balanced mix of both.
