Endure Trail invites you to explore the rugged beauty and diverse landscapes around Vejrhøj, Zealand’s third highest point at 121 metres above sea level. This trail race offers runners an unforgettable journey through Geopark Odsherred, Denmark's first UNESCO Geopark, where each kilometre unveils a new vista of natural splendour. The course winds through the picturesque southern part of the Vejrhøj Ridge and takes you on a tour through enchanting areas like "The Mountains," Kårup Forest, Næs Forest, and Ordrup Næs. The terrain is varied, offering both challenging ascents in the hills and exhilarating descents with panoramic views over stunning locations such as Nekselø, Sejerø Bay, and Lammefjorden. Participants can choose from four distances: 32 km, 64 km, 96 km, or a grueling 160 km. Each distance is run on the same 32-kilometre circuit with an elevation gain of over 700 metres per lap. For those who wish to test their night running skills, both the 32 km and 64 km routes are available for nighttime races. A race briefing will be held 20 minutes before each start time for all participants. It's important to note that a registration fee of 11 DKK is required through My RaceResults, which includes an administration charge. Additionally, runners must have the race director’s emergency number (+45 2250 9350) saved on their devices. Hydration and safety are paramount during this event. Participants should bring at least one litre of fluid for hydration needs. A folding cup or equivalent container with a minimum capacity of 150 ml is mandatory, especially for the longer distances (160 km, 96 km, 64 km STS, and 32 km DT). For added safety during night races, runners must carry an extra lamp as backup in case their primary headlamp fails. Batteries can be stored in a drop bag. By participating, you agree to the use of your images from race day for commercial and public purposes by Vejrhøj Trail and its sponsors or photographers. In the event that unforeseen circumstances lead to cancellation, entry fees will be refunded minus an administration fee unless participants opt to transfer their registration to the following year's event.
