EpicTrails 10km - Exploring trails by headtorch

About the Event

EpicTrails invites runners to explore the enchanting trails of Milngavie by head torch, starting at 7pm from Milngavie Train Station. This unique night run will take you along the Clyde Coastal Path and parts of the West Highland Way, offering a mix of familiar routes and hidden gems that come alive under the moonlight.
The evening begins with daylight but transitions into darkness as runners make their way through winding trails and scenic vistas. The pace is relaxed and social, ensuring no one gets left behind. Regular regrouping points along the route allow for breaks and camaraderie among participants. Experienced guides accompany each run, providing a safe and enjoyable experience.
Trail shoes and head torches are mandatory to ensure safety in low-light conditions. Additional kit requirements may vary depending on weather and season but will be detailed in the event brief ahead of time. The runs are not competitive; they focus instead on community spirit and shared adventure.
Unfortunately, dogs and individuals under 18 years old cannot participate due to insurance restrictions. Any cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours before the run for a refund. All proceeds from the events cover costs initially, with remaining funds donated periodically to local charities.
Join EpicTrails for an unforgettable evening of trail running in Milngavie, where the beauty of night-time paths and friendly company combine to create an experience like no other.
EpicTrails looks forward to welcoming you on this special run through Scotland's stunning landscapes under starlit skies.
