Escalon Park Fete

Running through the heart of Escalon offers both speed and community spirit on this summer morning. Whether you're aiming for personal bests or just enjoying a family outing, there's something to suit everyone at our flat out-and-back course that caters beautifully to all levels.
The race takes place in the charming town of Escalon, California, where participants will gather early before sunrise. Registration opens at 6:30 am on race day for those who haven't already signed up online by June 31st ($40) or July 1st and thereafter ($50). Early registrants can secure a custom-designed event shirt.
Race start times are set with the 7:30 am kickoff for the 10K runners, followed closely at 7:45 am for those in the 5K. Both races feature chip timing to ensure accurate results and fair competition.
The race day atmosphere is vibrant, blending competitive energy with a welcoming community feel as participants cheer each other on through this scenic route. For top finishers, there's more than just pride at stake—medals are awarded for both male and female runners in the 10K (first three places) and 5K races (top two), along with special recognition for kids under 14.
Awards also go to those who cross the line first: a year of gym membership plus gift cards for 1st place finishers, Pilates sessions combined with smaller cash prizes for second and third-place winners in both distances.
Post-race festivities extend beyond the track, inviting everyone into Escalon Park Fete Festival where you can enjoy parades, vendor booths offering local crafts and treats, as well as a variety of food options.
