Eskasoni Nepisulti’kul Run

Eskasoni Nepisulti’kul Run returns to Eskasoni, Nova Scotia on June 6, 2026. This event is the second annual gathering that promotes wellness, fitness, and community connection.
The race takes place in a familiar yet vibrant setting at the Eskasoni PowWow Grounds. On race morning, expect early summer temperatures with moderate UV index of 5.6, making it a comfortable day for running. The firm but slightly soft trail conditions ensure participants can focus on their pace without worrying about rugged terrain.
The event offers two distances: a 10KM and a 5KM run. Both races begin at the Eskasoni PowWow Grounds with staggered starts to accommodate all runners, including those in the children’s fun race scheduled for 9 AM. The finish line is also at this location, where participants can celebrate their achievements among friends and family.
The course includes crossing guards along key routes such as Denny's Lane, John Paul's Lane, and Eskasoni Fire Hall to ensure safety. For the 10KM route, runners will travel from the PowWow Grounds to MainGas Bar before returning; for the 5KM, the journey is from the PowWow Grounds to Goat Island Stage.
Water stations are strategically placed at key points including the PowWow Grounds and Eskasoni Fire Hall. Each participant receives a commemorative medal, event t-shirt, reusable bag, and water bottle as part of their entry fee, which is free for all distances.
