Euro Tour 5* et Open de France SUP RACE

The EuroTour SUP 6 and Open de France SUP Race returns for its second consecutive year, hosted by the Charente-Maritime Surf Committee during their annual Week-end de la Glisse. This prestigious event takes place at Pontaillac Bay, a stunning coastal location in Royan that offers breathtaking views and challenging waters.
Competitors from across Europe and beyond will gather to compete in an exhilarating Technical Race with a prize purse of €8,000. The race is not only part of the EuroTour SUP 6 series but also counts towards regional rankings, adding extra prestige for local athletes.
On Friday, September 18th, all participants are invited to visit the Week-end de la Glisse village from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pontaillac Beach in Royan. Here they will validate their registrations and collect race bibs and welcome packs. Those unable to make it on Friday can still register between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM the following morning.
The Technical Race, scheduled for Saturday, September 19th at high tide around midday (11:17 AM), will see athletes navigate a course of 2.5 kilometers over two laps of 1.25km each. The race includes transitions on land and features both qualifying heats and finals to determine the ultimate champion.
With its picturesque setting, competitive spirit, and substantial prize money, this event promises an unforgettable experience for stand-up paddleboard enthusiasts from all corners of Europe.
