The Exmoor Beast challenges runners with three distinct routes that cater to various levels of endurance and ambition. The 100-mile Exmoor Beast is designed for those seeking an ultimate test, while the 65-mile Exmoor Beauty offers a more manageable yet still demanding course. For those looking to experience the beauty and challenge of Exmoor without committing to such lengthy distances, there’s also the 42-mile Exmoor Breeze.
Each route features the iconic climb up Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor's highest point and a landmark that tests even the most seasoned athletes with its steep ascent. The race begins and concludes at Wimbleball Lake, where runners can enjoy camping facilities for those who wish to make it an overnight adventure.
Throughout each course, participants will find fully signed routes supported by quality feed stations providing essential nutrition and hydration. Outriders, mechanics, and medical personnel are also on hand to ensure a safe race experience. All competitors receive electronic chip timing, ensuring accurate completion times, along with bronze, silver, or gold finisher’s medals awarded based on their performance.
The Exmoor Beast is more than just a run; it's an immersive journey through the stunning landscapes of Exmoor National Park, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain.
