The 3rd Annual Fall Fest 5K + Fun Run is timed by Terra Running Co. and will benefit City Fields and their event vision to reconnect forgotten neighborhoods. This event kicks off the first weekend of Fall in Cleveland, Tennessee and is perfect for 5k runners looking for a newer route with some challenging hills. There will also be a 1-mile walk/fun run, easy for anyone to participate!
Extra Early Bird pricing is open until July 15 ($25 for 5k/$12 for 1-mile). Standard rates are open until Sept 1 ($30 for 5k/$16 1-mile). And after Sept 1 ($35 for 5k/$20 for 1-mile).Students from Blythe Bower Elementary run for free, and neighborhood residents can run at a discounted rate. Email race director for discount information. Please note that all registrations are final, and no refunds will be issued. The race will take place rain or shine, but in the event of hazardous weather conditions, it will be postponed to a later date.
Early packet pickup will be on September 25th from 10am-6pm at 1075 Blythe Ave SE, Cleveland TN 37311 in Suite #4. Parking is available at the event in a few locations: park’s main parking lot, park street parking, and additional nearby church parking lots. Participants will receive a more detailed parking map after registration.
We welcome strollers, and dogs are permitted as well. However, participants bringing dogs should be aware that the race route passes through a residential neighborhood where other dogs may bark or react. If your dog is sensitive to that type of environment, it’s recommended to leave them at home for their comfort and safety. City Fields will be hosting course preview events throughout the summer. Email race director Julianna Atchley at julianna@cityfieldscdc.com with your questions or visit www.cityfieldscdc.com/fall-fest-5k-2026 for more information.

Learn more about the host city, Cleveland.
Cleveland is the county seat of Bradley County, Tennessee. As of 2020, the population was 45,902. Just like in other areas of the South, Native Americans such as the Cherokees were forced to cede their tribal homelands and move west in what was termed "The Trail Of Tears", in which many died. Cleveland was an exhibition in all this in that not only was it the site of the diminishing Cherokee's council at a place called Charleston and then Red Clay nearby, but it also was where federal troops imprisoned tribal members in stockades for forced removal by the time the crafty Treaty of New Echota passed in 1835. These things are represented at the Museum Center At Five Points and Red Clay State Park.
