On November 2, 2024, runners from all walks of life are invited to experience the breathtaking beauty and vibrant atmosphere of Skatås area near Gothenburg for the 57th edition of Finalloppet. Organized by Göteborgs Skidklubb since 1968, this event offers a range of distances suitable for every level of runner. The centerpiece of the day is the challenging yet rewarding 19 km course, open to both men and women with equal opportunities and prize money awarded to the fastest finishers. This route winds through stunning natural landscapes, offering runners an unforgettable race experience that highlights Skatås' reputation as a paradise for running enthusiasts. For those looking for something less strenuous but equally rewarding, there is a 10 km course featuring categories specifically designed for juniors and senior participants, ensuring no age group feels left out. This distance also includes classes tailored to runners of all abilities in the middle range, along with a walking class that encourages everyone to enjoy the scenic route at their own pace. Younger athletes have several options as well: shorter courses cater exclusively to youth groups, while a 5 km course welcomes participants from all age brackets, providing an inclusive and fun environment for families. The very youngest runners can participate in a special short course of about 250 meters within the arena area, making it easy for children to join in on the excitement.
