Fire Fest Ultra

About the Event

The Fire Fest Ultra takes place on November 21–22, 2026, at the Logandale Trails in Logandale, NV (one hour north of Las Vegas). This unforgettable race offers distances from a 1-mile kids run to 100 miles, with early start times available for ultrarunners at 4:00 AM. The full course is approximately 17.1 miles per loop, taking runners through 45,000 acres of amazing trails, stunning rock formations, and petroglyphs left hundreds of years ago. Sunday races consist of 50K, marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-mile kids run.

Fork aid — 1.8, 11.9, 18.8, 28.9, 35.8, 45.9, 52.8, 62.9, 69.8, 79.9, 86.8, 96.9 miles
10K turnaround — 3.1, 10.69, 20.1, 27.69, 37.1, 44.69, 54.1, 61.69, 71.1, 78.29, 88.1, 95.69 miles
2nd Fork Aid (free standing water only) — 6.2, 23.2, 40.2, 57.2, 74.2, 91.2 miles
Start/Finish — 17.1, 34, 51, 68, 85, 100 miles
Gatorade, water, gel, salty snacks, food, fruits provided.
Hot food for ultrarunners: casseroles, noodles, broth, burgers, hot dogs, breakfast pancakes, bacon.
Vegetarian and vegan options available.
Hot coffee and cocoa available all day and especially at night.

Cutoff Times:

100M/100K — 35 hours
50M — 25 hours
50K (Saturday) — 15 hours
Sunday does NOT have 24H, 100M, 100K, 50M, or 12H.

Parking:

Valley of Fire State Park charges $10/car (local) or $15/car (out of state) per day.
Please have cash on race day or pay at packet pickup.
Overflow parking available half mile before main staging area on left.

Camping:

Camping available at Logandale Trail System.
No RV hookups.
Arrive early Friday to find a spot before locals do.
Staging area available (but race staff may be loud and not sleeping much).

Packet Pickup:

45 minutes to 1 hour prior to your start time at staging area.
Plan early morning accordingly.

Medals and Awards:

Podium finish — top 3 male/female per distance announced.
Handmade plaques by local artist.
All finishers receive handmade medal.

Beer Garden (Sin City Brewing Company):

Amber Ale and IPA kegs sponsored by Sin City Brewing.
Runners 21+ — valid ID required.
Alcohol must remain in designated area (state jurisdiction).

Virtual Runners:

Shirt and medal mailed within two weeks after race.
Upload time to UltraSignup (Garmin or similar) to be added to website results.

Volunteers:

$15 credit per hour toward a future race.
Sign up via SignUpGenius link in event description.

Refund Policy:

No refunds 30 days prior to event.
If event canceled or postponed: transfer to any Triple Dare Running event (no refunds).

Directions (from I-15, 1 hour north of Las Vegas):

Take Hwy 169 toward Logandale/Overton.
Turn right on Liston Rd (right after small post office).
Follow road right, cross railroad track.
Follow road to Logandale Trail System.
Staging area/start line on right.
Dropped pin location available via Google Maps link in event description.

Wildlife and History:

Bighorn sheep, desert tortoise, jackrabbit, skunk, antelope, coyote, bobcat, lizards, snakes.
Yucca plants, creosote, desert paintbrush, prickly pear cactus.
'Mouse's Tank' — named after Southern Paiute renegade 'Little Mouse' who hid there in 1890s.
Bring camera — stunning scenery.
