Welsh Enduro Challenge: A Weekend of Adventure and Community Set for 2026, the Welsh Enduro Challenge invites riders aged ten and above to explore some of Wales' most scenic trails. Whether you're an elite racer or a casual enthusiast, this event promises a mix of thrilling competition and camaraderie. On Saturday, participants can take advantage of open practice sessions to familiarize themselves with the challenging stages and dial in their lines for race day. The following Sunday features timed runs on each stage where riders will push their limits and see who emerges victorious. The event is designed to be inclusive, welcoming all types of bikes including E-bikes (with pedals), hardtails, full-suspension rigs, fat bikes, or even unicycles—anything that can make it around the course. Riders aged under 16 must have a chaperone present, but rest assured, this doesn't mean you need to ride alongside them. Competitors will compete in various categories such as Elite, U15 through Grand Veteran for men and women across different age brackets, ensuring there’s something for everyone regardless of experience level. E-bike riders are also welcome with specific age-based divisions available. While the results from this event won’t contribute to any series points or rankings within the Peaks Enduro Series, it offers a unique opportunity to test your skills on UK trail-center terrain and enjoy some fantastic riding conditions alongside fellow enthusiasts. Camping is available starting Friday afternoon, allowing participants ample time to set up camp, meet other riders, and soak in the pre-race atmosphere. The event aims to celebrate everything great about mountain biking—community spirit, incredible trails, and pure enjoyment. Whether you're aiming for a podium finish or simply out for an enjoyable weekend on your bike, the Welsh Enduro Challenge promises unforgettable experiences amidst stunning landscapes and friendly company. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to make use of Friday’s setup time. Camping facilities will be available throughout the event, providing a relaxed environment for riders to socialize and prepare for the challenges ahead. For those looking to secure their spot with some peace of mind, XCover is offered as an optional add-on that allows participants to receive refunds in case they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. However, cancellations within seven days of the event will not be eligible for a refund. With its focus on fun and inclusivity, the Welsh Enduro Challenge invites all riders to come out and enjoy a weekend filled with great riding, engaging company, and memorable moments in Wales’ beautiful countryside.

About Llangollen
Learn more about the host city, Llangollen.
Llangollen is a small town in Denbighshire, Wales, ten miles southwest of Wrexham. It's on A5, the historic stagecoach route, and close to the English border, so it's been a tourist destination for 200 years. It's notable for its abbey, the spectacular leaping aqueduct that carries the canal, and the fine half-timbered abode of the "Ladies of Llangollen".
