About the Event

Starting and finishing at the Cishan Geological Museum, Cishan Geopark, Yellow-Bohai New Area, Yantai, Shandong, this race runs 7:00 AM on Friday, October 2 (National Day holiday) with a 800-runner cap across 40K (300 spots), 20K (300 spots), and 10K (200 spots). Registration opens July 30 at 12:12 through September 20.
The 40K (39.6km actual, 2,249m gain / 2,225m descent, ITRA ~2 points) has a 10-hour cutoff; the 20K (21.5km, 1,593m gain / 1,532m descent, ITRA ~1 point) has a 6-hour cutoff; the 10K (7.2km, 495m gain / 453m descent) has a 3-hour cutoff.
Cishan, a national 4A scenic area shaped by mountain and spring alike, offers three distinct terrains along the course: pine-needle forest trail, exposed rock and scree along the ridgeline, and lakeside wetland, with the 10K climbing through forest to a summit view over the Yellow Sea before turning back.
