About the Event

Welcome to the Uppsala Peace Run 2026, an entirely charitable event taking place on August 29th at Stadsträdgården. This year's proceeds will benefit Palestinian organizations in Sweden and support the work of the Swedish-Cuban Association in Cuba by donating a portion (25%) to their initiatives.
The day starts with packet pickup from 11:30 AM, followed by various activities designed for all ages:
- Mini Run for children at 12:30 PM covering 550 meters.
- A Children's Race of 1.5 kilometers beginning at 1:00 PM.
- A leisurely Promenade Walk of 2 kilometers starting at 1:30 PM, perfect for those who prefer a gentle stroll through the scenic gardens.
- The main event is a 5-kilometer Run at 2:00 PM. Note that this run does not include timekeeping services.
Participants are encouraged to support the cause by making voluntary donations via Plusgiro (947581-5) or Swish (123 533 33 64). Additional contributions can be made during registration, and group discounts apply when registering at least six individuals together. For manual registrations due to technical issues or payment constraints, contact the event organizers via email for assistance.
