About the Event

Frøslevdag is set to welcome runners and families alike with an array of activities centered around the charming town of Frøslev, home to the newly renovated cultural center. The heart of this annual celebration lies in the Frøslev Race, designed for both serious competitors looking to gauge their fitness levels and recreational joggers seeking motivation.
The race offers a variety of distances catering to all ages and abilities: a marathon on rural roads that winds through scenic landscapes; a half-marathon offering similar terrain but with reduced distance; 10km and 5km runs, each providing opportunities for runners to enjoy the local scenery at their own pace. For those who prefer off-road trails, there's also a 3km route around Kæret.
Registration opens on September 5th, 2026, starting from 9:30 AM with start numbers available until race day. The marathon kicks off promptly at 10:00 AM followed by the half-marathon at noon and then the shorter distances in the afternoon. Participants will receive medals upon finishing if they have registered beforehand by August 14th.
Beyond the races, there are additional attractions such as a sandwich stand where participants can purchase food ahead of time or on-site. The event also features locker rooms and showers for post-race relaxation. Prizes include raffle draws based on children's registration numbers, adding an element of excitement to the day’s festivities.
