Delta Velo is thrilled to present the 26th Annual Giro D'Vino, an exclusive bike tour through the picturesque Lodi Wine Country. This year marks a special milestone with a brand-new course designed for cyclists looking to explore the region's stunning vineyards and charming wineries.
Registration opens at 7:15 AM on race day, allowing participants ample time to check in, collect their numbered wristbands, and take advantage of free wine tastings and bottle purchases. By 9:00 AM, all riders must be ready for the course opening at 8:30 AM; those who haven't started by then will miss out on the event's highlights.
The ride itself is approximately 45 miles long, with detailed maps provided to guide cyclists through a carefully marked route. Along the way, participants can enjoy rest stops stocked with snacks and drinks, ensuring they stay fueled for their journey. A lunch stop offers a hearty meal in the middle of the day, followed by a post-ride feast that caps off an unforgettable experience.
Tech support from Del Rio Bike Shop is available throughout the ride to address any mechanical issues, while sag vehicles provide assistance if needed. The course closes at 4:00 PM and food service ends promptly at 4:30 PM, allowing everyone to enjoy their final moments in this beautiful setting before heading home.
Registration includes a commemorative Giro D'Vino wine glass and T-shirt, adding an extra touch of exclusivity to the event. Cyclists can also take advantage of free tastings at all winery stops along with discounted bottle purchases that will be shuttled back to the start/finish line for convenience.
