Formerly known as the Brain Health to Beat Stroke, this event is a fang-tastic 5K, 10K, and 1K that raises funds and awareness for strokes. Don't let your loved ones become zombies—join us for a monstrously good time!
Healings in Motion provides local educational programs and services supporting brain health, stroke awareness, and prevention. Your participation and donations will increase stroke awareness in our community, help reduce the number of strokes, and directly support those with stroke recovery. It's a grave cause we're passionate about! For more information, visit https://www.healingsinmotion.org
All runners will start on Ben Holt Drive in the heart of the Lincoln Center. We'll head West toward Lincoln High School, then make our way back to the finish line where you'll be greeted by a ghoulishly good time! Expect themed music, trick-or-treating, thriller dance competitions, and tons of great goodies from the community. It's going to be un-boo-lievable!
Participate where you want, when you want between October 30th–November 1st! Send us a screenshot of your path from Strava, Nike Run Club, Garmin, or any other fitness tracker via Instagram or email us at brainhealth5K@gmail.com. While your results won't appear with our in-person participants, we'd love to see your spooky selfies and post them on our socials. No coffin required!
We'll make our way around the North side of Lincoln Center! For stroke survivors and others recovering from a brain injury, this is your chance to participate at any level of ability. We all know someone affected by stroke—honor them by joining us or donating in their honor. Because when it comes to supporting survivors, we don't ghost anyone!
All fees include a finisher medal, brain freeze ice cream, a timed race bib, and an event t-shirt. Talk about a sweet deal—it's not just a treat, it's a trick-or-treat!
