About the Event

The Gobble Cross cyclocross race returns once again, this year at RC Jenkins Arena within Sokol Park. Located just off Watermelon Road north of the main park entrance, runners can find their way to 6025 Northport, AL 35473 via GPS or by following directions on the race's Facebook event page.
USA Cycling licenses are required for participation; one-day licenses are available at a cost of $15. Mountain bikes are permitted but must have bar ends removed to ensure compliance with regulations. The course will be familiar territory, having been established since 2016 and featuring challenging terrain that promises an exhilarating experience for all participants.
Races will take place rain or shine, adhering strictly to the weather conditions on the day of the event. No refunds are offered due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather.
Support is readily available through mechanical support provided by a local bike shop, ensuring any necessary repairs can be handled swiftly and efficiently during the race.
