Nestled in the scenic hills of Haute-Savoie, east of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, this mountainous edition promises a wild and panoramic adventure that will challenge even the most seasoned cyclists.
The organizers have set the bar high with a difficulty rating of 5/5, reflecting Annecy's rugged terrain. With towns like Sallanches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Albertville, and Aix-les-Bains offering breathtaking views and challenging climbs, this event is far from your typical flat course.
The GravelMan Series in Annecy offers five distances to choose from: 60 km with 1,000 m of elevation gain, 120 km with 2,000 m, 200 km with 2,500 m, 350 km with 4,500 m, and the epic 500 km route boasting an impressive 6,500 meters of elevation gain. Even the shortest distance is no walk in the park; expect a mix of dense forests, towering mountains, and stunning turquoise lakes that will test your endurance.
For those seeking extreme challenges, the 500 km option offers more than just miles—it's equivalent to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro twice!
