Green BLR 2.0 returns to Bengaluru on August 23, 2026, as the city's premier green running initiative aimed at reinvigorating its natural landscape through community action and environmental stewardship. This year’s event promises a unique blend of physical activity and ecological responsibility, inviting runners across all ages to participate in one of three distances: 3K, 5K, or 10K. Registration for Green BLR 2.0 not only secures your spot on the starting line but also plants a real sapling in Bengaluru’s green belt, ensuring that every step taken contributes directly to reforesting the city and enhancing its biodiversity. The event offers early bird pricing of ₹499 for the 3K run, ₹799 for the 5K distance, and ₹999 for the full 10K course. Standard registration is also available at slightly higher rates: ₹699 for 3K, ₹999 for 5K, and ₹1,299 for 10K. Participants can choose from multiple start times based on their chosen distance: - The 3K run begins promptly at 7:00 AM. - For the 5K race, runners will take off at 6:30 AM. - The most ambitious participants tackling the full 10K course have a starting time of 6:00 AM. Each participant receives a comprehensive package including a bib number, an event t-shirt, a finisher's medal, refreshments, breakfast, and complimentary photos and videos. Those opting for timed races (5K and 10K) will also be provided with timing chips and certificates to track their performance accurately. The race organizers are committed to rewarding excellence across all distances: - For the 5K and 10K categories, trophies await both men’s and women's overall winners as well as those who excel in various age groups. - The top three finishers of the shorter 3K run will be awarded goodie bags filled with exclusive merchandise. In addition to these incentives, runners can look forward to a bib expo where they'll have opportunities to engage with sponsors and learn more about upcoming initiatives. It's important for all participants to note that registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred under any circumstances due to the event’s commitment to sustainability and community involvement.
