Registration is first-come, first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 31. The 100km (500 runners, 99.5km actual, 5,484m+ gain, ITRA 5 points) starts 7:00 with a 28-hour cutoff; the 50km (1,000 runners, 51.8km, 2,502m+ gain, ITRA 3 points) starts in two waves with a 14-hour cutoff; the 30km (1,000 runners, 31.1km, 1,108m+ gain, ITRA 1 point) starts in two waves with an 8-hour cutoff; the 10km (500 runners, 10.4km, 42m+ gain) has a 2-hour cutoff. Guangzhou's highest point, deep in Lingnan's mountains -- canyon, ridgeline, stream, dense forest, bamboo sea, and old villages unfold with every step. The soul of the course is Tiantangding, Guangzhou's tallest peak, where clouds roll below the summit. Known for its extreme climbing-and-descent profile stacking one thousand-meter peak after another, this is South China trail running at its most demanding.
