Harvest Hustle: 5K Run, Wheel & Walk on Saturday, October 3rd returns to Chatham, Ontario, Canada. This community event combines the beloved 5K Run with a long-standing Walkathon fundraiser, bringing together families and supporters for an inclusive celebration. Mud Creek Trail serves as the venue for this race, surrounded by the familiar sights of autumn foliage. On race morning, expect cooler temperatures, typically ranging from low to mid-60s Fahrenheit, with moderate UV levels indicating some sun protection is advised but not overly harsh. The trail conditions will be firm and slightly soft, creating a comfortable surface for runners. For more than 15 years, Harvest Hustle: 5K Run, Wheel & Walk has been part of Chatham’s fall calendar, attracting participants from the community and beyond. This year, over 400 individuals are expected to join in running or walking, contributing significantly to a charity close to their hearts. The race offers three distinct distances: the timed 5K for adults, the Kids Dash at 210 meters for ages 2–7, and the accessible Walk & Wheel route of 2 kilometers. Participants will receive a finisher medal regardless of which distance they choose.
