Hermes Open 5K

On January 16, 2027, Løbeklubben Hermes invites runners to gather at Havnegade in Odense for a special winter edition of their popular "femmer" race. This flat and fast 5 km course along the asphalted cycle path is ideal for testing your form after the holiday season or simply enjoying a leisurely jog with friends.
The event starts with number distribution from 1:00 PM at Havnegade 102, across from H.J. Hansen's recycling station. Participants can park their vehicles nearby on Havnegade 100 and enjoy easy access to restrooms located just steps away at the same address.
Runners will experience a smooth route that is DAF-measured for official record purposes. The race organizers remind participants to be cautious of traffic while navigating this open road course, but they have ensured there are depots available in both start and finish areas for added convenience.
Entry fees remain affordable with early bird pricing at 125 kr per participant until December 1, 2026, increasing slightly thereafter. The race also offers a competitive edge as prizes will be awarded to the fastest male and female runners on the day.
Safety is paramount; in case of dangerous conditions such as icy roads or slippery footing due to weather, the event may be postponed for everyone's safety with full refunds issued accordingly. Race timing will utilize chip technology embedded within the start numbers provided at registration.
