Høfde Ultra Trail 2027

Welcome to the HØFDE Ultra Trail 2027, Denmark's most unique trail running experience. This year, prepare for an unforgettable adventure as you navigate through diverse terrains that include beach runs, rolling hills, and challenging forest trails with single-track paths winding around massive trees and across cow pastures.
The day begins early at 7:45 AM when participants can pick up their start numbers. At 8:20 AM, a shuttle bus will transport you to the starting area. A race briefing is scheduled for 8:55 AM before the official start time of 9:00 AM.
The course itself offers an exhilarating mix of natural landscapes and technical challenges that test both your physical endurance and mental fortitude. Participants can expect a variety of obstacles, including water crossings in Vejle Fjord and navigating through dense forests with steep climbs and descents.
At the finish line around 2:00 PM, runners will be greeted by warm chili con carne, coffee, hot chocolate, cake, and beer to celebrate their achievement. All participants receive a unique neck scarf upon starting and an exclusive medal for completing the race.
For those interested in post-race amenities, there are two depots along the route offering various treats and refreshments throughout your journey.
Please note that while GPS is highly recommended due to the lack of marked trails, all results will be reported to DUV statistics. Participants should arrive dressed appropriately as changing facilities may not be available at certain points.
