Vasaloppet, the prestigious 90 km classic cross-country ski race from Sälen to Mora in Sweden, is set for Sunday, March 7, 2027. For Danish participants, a special arrangement includes bus transport on Friday morning with comfortable accommodation at Centralskolan or Hole Bystugan over the weekend. Participants will enjoy centralized lodging options featuring full-board accommodations including meals for those staying at Centralskolan. For Hole Bystugan guests, there is an option to self-cater. Registration opens on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at noon and closes by February 17, 2027, or earlier if spots are sold out. Skiers must be members of a ski club under the Danish Ski Federation to participate in Vasaloppet through this organization. The race day features an energizing atmosphere with fellow skiers from Denmark sharing camaraderie and support along the route. Upon crossing the finish line at Mora, participants will receive refreshments including sandwiches or light meals as part of the post-race celebration.
