The Hickory Flat Out 5K returns to Canton, Georgia on September 6, 2027, bringing the community together for another year of spirited competition and fundraising. Organized annually, this chip-timed road race starts and finishes at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, offering runners a mostly flat course with gentle rolling hills that extend out and back from the church grounds.
The event is designed to support Hide and Seek Day Camp through its proceeds, ensuring children have access to enriching summer programs. A highlight of the day is the kid's Fun Run, which transforms into an obstacle course filled with fun challenges inspired by the camp’s activities. Participants can look forward to a day packed with energy and excitement as kids navigate their way through various obstacles that promise hours of enjoyment.
For those unable to participate in person on race day, Phantom Runner registration allows individuals to contribute financially while still receiving a commemorative t-shirt. Join us for an afternoon filled with community spirit and athletic camaraderie at the Hickory Flat Out 5K.
