About the Event

The Hickory Flat Out 5K, an annual Labor Day tradition since its inception, draws runners and families alike to the charming town of Canton, Georgia. This chip-timed road race starts and concludes at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, offering a mostly flat course with occasional rolling hills that provide a pleasant challenge for participants.
The event also features a thrilling kids' Fun Run designed to keep young enthusiasts engaged and entertained. Inspired by the energy from summer Hide and Seek Camp, this section of the race is brimming with fun obstacles sure to delight children and ignite their competitive spirit.
For those unable to join on race day, Phantom Runner registration remains an option, allowing supporters to contribute while still receiving a commemorative t-shirt.
