On Sunday, November 22nd, the third edition of HOPITHON invites runners and walkers to explore three scenic routes through Hospital Camfrout: a 7km course, a challenging 13km route, and for those seeking an extra adventure, a rigorous 20km trek. The event aims to raise funds for the Téléthon cause with support from local organizations including Amicale Laïque, APE, Tennis Club Camfrout, Tagada Tsoin Tsoin, Rand'Eau Longecote, Camfrout VTT Nature, and Hospital Camfrout's Football Association. The festivities extend over two weekends. On the first weekend, runners and walkers will take to the trails on November 22nd while indoor activities organized by local groups are scheduled for Saturday, December 5th at various venues within the community center. Participants can also join a guided walk through the woods of Gars Forest on Sunday, November 23rd. All circuits start from Hospital Camfrout’s multi-purpose sports hall and feature diverse terrains including wooded paths, winding roads, and scenic trails around local landmarks.
