Experience the unique beauty of Öland's largest lake, Hornsjön (also known as Hornsviken), during an unforgettable run or walk. Nestled near Löttorp within Högby socken, this picturesque setting offers runners a diverse and scenic course that winds through varied landscapes. Participants will traverse dirt roads with limestone bases, lush grasslands, deciduous forests, coniferous woods, and sandy dunes.
As you make your way around the two-square-kilometer lake, which reaches depths of up to four meters at its deepest point, take in the serene natural surroundings that Horns Kungsgård has to offer. This protected area is part of the Natura 2000 network and provides a habitat for diverse flora and fauna.
Join approximately 500 fellow runners as you explore this stunning environment and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. All participants will receive a commemorative medal upon completion, celebrating your achievement in one of Sweden’s most scenic races.
