IAS Woods Winter Wonder Run 2026

Dive into the beauty of winter with the Winter Wonder Run 6K at Institute Woods near Princeton, New Jersey. This scenic race welcomes all skill levels, whether you're an experienced runner or someone who prefers to walk along the trails.
The course winds through well-maintained natural-surface paths in the serene setting of Institute Woods, offering runners a peaceful and picturesque backdrop for their 6K journey. For those looking for a shorter distance, there's also a non-competitive option with a 3K route available for paces over 15 minutes per mile.
Registration is exclusively online through Split Second Racing’s platform, ensuring that you can secure your spot ahead of time and enjoy the convenience of digital entry management. The event has a field limit of 200 participants to ensure an intimate race experience with plenty of space on the trails for all competitors. Early registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
On race day, gather at Princeton Friends School by 9:15 AM to allow ample time for parking and bib collection. Parking is available both at event headquarters and nearby Mercer Street near Princeton Battlefield State Park, providing easy access to the start line via a short walk through the park.
The day's festivities kick off with packet pickup beginning at 8:45 AM sharp until 9:45 AM when all participants are encouraged to be present for an on-time start. Be sure to wear your bib number prominently and ensure it’s not folded or cut, allowing race officials a clear view of the four corners.
Post-race refreshments will be provided at Princeton Friends School after you cross the finish line, offering runners a chance to refuel and relax in the warm company of fellow participants.
