The Infinitri Triathlon Festival returns to Castellón province on June 5, 2027, continuing its tradition of promoting triathlon sports with the addition of Burriana as a vibrant venue since 2022. This year's event promises an authentic triathlon experience tailored for all skill levels and features four non-drafting distances: Half-Ironman (1.9 km swim / 84 km bike / 21 km run), Aquabike (1.9 km swim / 84 km bike), Olympic+ (1.5 km swim / 42 km bike / 14 km run), and Short (1 km swim / 21 km bike / 7 km run). Burriana's Arenal Beach, a Blue Flag beach known for its pristine waters and picturesque setting, serves as the focal point of this triathlon festival. Participants will start their journey here before transitioning to the Clot de la Mare de Déu Municipal Natural Park for an invigorating foot race through one of the few riparian forests in Plana Baixa. This protected natural area is home to a variety of trees, including elms and cottonwoods, offering runners a unique and serene environment that enhances their experience. The festival not only celebrates athletic achievement but also provides participants with a memorable setting where they can immerse themselves in nature while challenging their limits across the various distances offered. Spectators are encouraged to join and support athletes as they navigate through this beautiful coastal town and its surrounding natural beauty, making it an event that is truly enjoyable for all attendees. The Infinitri Triathlon Festival invites triathletes of every level to come together in Burriana, combining the excitement of competition with the serenity of a protected natural park. Whether you're participating or spectating, this festival promises an unforgettable day filled with scenic beauty and athletic camaraderie.
