The annual race at Bois Joalland offers runners an exciting 9-kilometer course, down from the traditional 10 kilometers due to planned maintenance works starting in September. This year’s event includes two races: a half marathon of 4.5 kilometers and a longer distance of 9 kilometers, both run without time restrictions or official rankings.
Participants will start from the esplanade at Bois Joalland, enjoying scenic routes through lush forested trails that wind their way through picturesque landscapes. The course is designed to challenge runners with varied terrain while offering breathtaking views of nature.
For those seeking a more relaxed pace, two walking routes are also available: one 5-kilometer and another stretching over 10 kilometers. These gentle walks allow participants to explore the beauty of Bois Joalland at their own speed.
To accommodate a larger number of runners this year, organizers have implemented quotas for both races and the walking events. While details on exact numbers are not provided here, it is noted that they aim to welcome 7200 people compared to last year's 6032 participants.
